Wycoller is a village in the civil parish of Trawden Forest in Pendle, Lancashire, England. It is located 3 miles east of Colne, near to the junction of the Lancashire, West Yorkshire and North Yorkshire borders.
The village dates back to before the 10th century BC. Central to the village are the ruins of Wycoller Hall. The village is a conservation area, and is closed to outside traffic. There is a car park on Trawden Road and another on the east side of the village opposite Height Laithe Farm on the road towards Haworth.
My name is Gillian Singleton. I take images that inspire me, the beauty that is all around, from travel to interiors. Photoshop has become a part of my life, I came across it four years ago and now i Volunteer, helping others to learn this amazing program, although i think you never stop learning. I like to create individual collages using Photoshop, with text in, to add to the meaning of the image. I am inspired by different forms of embroidery and applique, the use of stitches, buttons and fabric combined with my photographs to then tell a story. My art can come in any form so please keep on viewing you never know that piece maybe the one for you.
