My name is Gillian Singleton. I take images that inspire me, the beauty that is all around, from travel to interiors. Photoshop has become a part of my life, I came across it four years ago and now i Volunteer, helping others to learn this amazing program, although i think you never stop learning. I like to create individual collages using Photoshop, with text in, to add to the meaning of the image. I am inspired by different forms of embroidery and applique, the use of stitches, buttons and fabric combined with my photographs to then tell a story. My art can come in any form so please keep on viewing you never know that piece maybe the one for you.

Is there any way of finding out about this chap? I have a friend who lives in a cotton mill town in Lancashire and this chap is the image of him They must be related. He looks more like him than his father. If we knew which town he came from or mill he is associated with that might enable us to find out more. Superb piece of art work by the way.
Gillian Singleton replied:
This photo was taken in Queens street mill in Burnley Lancashire England. I only know that he was a volunteer in the mill on the day I took the photograph, they were having a Steampunk day where people dressed up in Victorian/punk dress.
