In the historic village of Fiskardo on the Ionian Island of Kefalonia sits this rather large frog surrounded by Japanese Koi carp fish. It was very unfortunate the day that we went on the trip as it was raining, so it was difficult getting the lighting right. I think that the rain actually adds to this image as the frog is wet and shiny and there are ripples on the surface of the pond.
My name is Gillian Singleton. I take images that inspire me, the beauty that is all around, from travel to interiors. Photoshop has become a part of my life, I came across it four years ago and now i Volunteer, helping others to learn this amazing program, although i think you never stop learning. I like to create individual collages using Photoshop, with text in, to add to the meaning of the image. I am inspired by different forms of embroidery and applique, the use of stitches, buttons and fabric combined with my photographs to then tell a story.
