This is a portrait of my daughter in thought provoking mood, looking into the distance, some memories never fade. This is a collage that has been built up using many layers and textures.
My name is Gillian Singleton. I take images that inspire me, the beauty that is all around, from travel to interiors. Photoshop has become a part of my life, I came across it four years ago and now i Volunteer, helping others to learn this amazing program, although i think you never stop learning. I like to create individual collages using Photoshop, with text in, to add to the meaning of the image. I am inspired by different forms of embroidery and applique, the use of stitches, buttons and fabric combined with my photographs to then tell a story. My art can come in any form so please keep on viewing you never know that piece maybe the one for you.
