The picturesque traditional settlement of Kioni lies in the southeast of Ithaca, 24 km from Vathy, in a verdant setting with unique attractions. It is built amphitheatrically on the slopes of a mountain, with little tiled roofed houses overlooking the picturesque port where small fishing boats are quietly mooring.
My name is Gillian Singleton. I take images that inspire me, the beauty that is all around, from travel to interiors. Photoshop has become a part of my life, I came across it four years ago and now i Volunteer, helping others to learn this amazing program, although i think you never stop learning. I like to create individual collages using Photoshop, with text in, to add to the meaning of the image. I am inspired by different forms of embroidery and applique, the use of stitches, buttons and fabric combined with my photographs to then tell a story. My art can come in any form so please keep on viewing you never know that piece maybe the one for you.
